Decks for Change is a grassroots organisation that uses skate art to raise funds for skatepark builds and skateboarding programs in pre-advantaged communities.

The first Decks for Change exhibition for 2019 is at the Work-Shop Warehouse in Fitzroy, on April 5, with two more events happening in Brisbane and Sydney later this year.

The curation of international and local artists includes: Pontus Alv, Andy Murphy, Lisa Dino, Sebo Walker, Eloise Dorr, Jordan Debney, Luke Day, Jaz Mishap, Carla Scotto, Ink Boy, Cory Scroggins, FAT DOG, Curtis Hay, Claudia Garde, Adelaide Norris, Doug Bennett and DJ C.FRIM.

Over the past three years, Decks for Change has contributed to skateboarding programs in Afghanistan and Cambodia, and the creation of skateparks for communities in Nepal and Iraq. Decks for Change currently supports the development of skateboarding programs for remote youth, refugees and IDP’s in Iraq.
