Congrats to the undisputed king of Sydney skateboarding, Chima Ferguson, for taking out yet another Video Part of the Year award.

Chima’s jaw-dropping part in the Vans full-length Nice To See You is one for the history books. Shot almost exclusively in Sydney city, Chima brought new life to spots that had either been shut down or skated to death, constantly stepping up his game beyond what anyone thought was possible. A true pioneer, Chima’s tricks at Martin Place have made an indelible mark on Australian skateboarding and will no doubt be remembered for generations to come.

Chima is no stranger to Slam awards: he won our Australian SOTY in 2007, and has collected the Video Part of the Year award for Spinning Away in 2019 and Propeller in 2016.
