Watch two of skateboarding’s most stylish innovators, Elijah Berle and Gilbert Crockett, go absolutely ham in the newest Vans video, Alright, OK.
In the midst of worldwide travel restrictions due to the pandemic, it was fitting that Alright, OK, premiered to the world via YouTube on November 24. But the video itself, which showcases two years of footage from Elijah Berle and Gilbert Crockett, was filmed across a bunch of different countries and cities, including Spain, Portugal, Australia and New Zealand, as well as Gilbert Crockett’s home state of Virginia and Elijah Berle’s of California.
Directed by Greg Hunt, who made classics like Mind Field (2009) and Propeller (2015), Alright, OK has an arty, vintage aesthetic and a mellow soundtrack, bringing out the personalities of the two skaters on screen. But it’s also a video with no shortage of heavy tricks, showcasing some hard-fought battles in the streets and insane results.
