A new location with more room to clear more kegs! Distillery Road Market and Burleigh Brewing have teamed up to host Keg Jump 2023, which will see the skateboarding and craft beer event run for its fourth year on Saturday, August 19, 2023. Proudly supported by Slam.
Keg Jump will host skateboarders from all over Australia in the invitational, competing for a prize pool valued at $5,000.
Last year’s winner, Dani Campbell, broke the record with a whopping 14 keg jumps to take out the 2022 title, beating the previous year’s record of 11 kegs by three kegs. This year, the skaters have much more room on polished concrete for favourable conditions to possibly clear 14 kegs or more!
Distillery Road Market is an epic venue near the almighty Yatala Pies – just north of the nearby BP Service Station. Carpool, or take the train, and grab your tickets now, so you don’t miss the keg-clearing chaos.
This year’s event also features a live art challenge with local street artists. Burleigh Brewing will be pouring the brews and local food truck vendors That Gelato Co., Vagabond Foods and The Fried Guys will be serving up an abundance of delicious dishes, along with on-site food outlets Sugar Creek Smokehouse and Posadas Cantina.
Open to all ages, tickets are available now via OzTix and include a complimentary beer or soft drink. For more information, visit Distillery Road Market’s website, and to grab tickets, head to Oztix.
