Hit the road with BIG hART and the Totem Skateboarding team as they visit the communities of Wallaga Lake on the NSW South Coast, North West Tasmania, and the Pilbara region of Western Australia.

With footage from workshops, events, and downtime, this is a glimpse of what it’s like to take the road less travelled with Totem and BIG hART and witness the stoke they bring.

BIG hART’s Skate of Mind project brings skaters, musicians, and artists into remote communities across the country to deliver workshops and host events. The goal is to bring as much value as possible to kids who don’t usually have access to these kinds of activities – and, through skateboarding, art and music, change how communities see their young people and their future. BIG hART secures funding from wherever they can, finds sponsors to give away as much as possible, and even takes their own portable half-pipe trailer to give the kids a show. They have an amazing team, incredible partners and have a heap of fun on the road.
