Celebrating the life and legacy of T-Buns in the Slam Hall of Fame.

It’s with great honour, that we announce Trent Riley as the Hall of Fame inductee for 2022. With two video parts and three covers released in 2021, plus the large majority of votes, T-Buns couldn’t be more deserving of the award.

Harry Pascoe with his fresh tatt revealed at the Treasury premiere and Trent’s cover surprise on March 19, 2021.

As everyone should know, Trent disappeared in April 2021 while out fishing, but he lives on in the memories of his family, friends and the greater Australian skateboarding community. Trent earned the curtain-closing part in Harry Pascoe’s Treasury, along with his first Slam cover, which was a mind-boggling Natas spin on a Brisbane city bull horn sculpture, shot by Curtis Hay. Curtis also shot Trent’s second Slam cover – a stylish pole jam grab grind on a city bike rack while bathed in beaming sunlight. Then came Mai War, a Pat Gemzik production in which it emerged that Trent had actually stacked a lot more footage than most people realised, which was then backed up by a cover with The Skateboarder’s Journal. Trent was full of surprises, along with endless style, creativity and talent. We will remember him always!
